Schools Ministry
What is school's ministry?
Schools ministry is:
- being of service to your local school.
- giving children and young people an opportunity to explore who Jesus is.
- supporting the individual and the wider school community, of staff and parents.
Schools ministry is rewarding, exhausting, exhilarating and completely unique to your area.
So how does this vary from other children's and youth work? It is working within the school’s remit, following their procedures and guidelines and often happens within the school day, and on the school premises.
If you are considering starting a schools ministry here are some tips on getting started.
