Social justice and peacemaking
Around the world
As an international church and charity, our response to injustice and peacemaking is global.
Our International Development work is divided into six areas:
International Social Justice Commission
The International Social Justice Commission is The Salvation Army's strategic voice to advocate for human dignity and social justice across the world.
The team is part of international headquarters and has an office based in New York City, home to the headquarters of the United Nations.
