Join with Salvationists of the Wales Division for day 33 of 150 days of prayer.

  • ‘When God has forgiven someone's sins, they are truly happy.  They may have turned against God, but when God forgives them, they are happy’ (Psalm 32:1, EasyEnglish Bible).

1906

The Metropole and Charles Street homes in Cardiff united for a meeting that was attended by 120 people. The Deliverer stated:

‘Truly all sorts of conditions were included – the home lassie of 16, with her hair still down; grannie of 82; the girl with hard features just from prison, whom something had brought along to the home at one o’clock that morning; the bright and fully uniformed service girl, who broke out when opportunity occurred in earnest prayer for those still unsaved. The respectable Metropole lodger was there, interested and responsive as any. There was no part of the meeting which did not seem to appeal equally to the poor, wronged little Sarah Jane and to grannie with a past, while as interested as any was the girl ex-prisoner, who came in drunk yesterday.’
