Covenant Sunday 2022
From 2022 Vision & Commitment becomes Covenant Sunday. This will help us to consider what it means to be a covenantal people and how to live this out as individuals and as a church. We pray that the newly named Covenant Sunday will enable corps across the territory to explore the importance of making and keeping covenant and that this date each year will continue to be of great significance to us all.
The theme of Being Together, Living in God’s Covenant will provide the basis for the teaching and resource provision, and we will unpack and discover what this could mean by using Matthew 22:34-40 as a key passage to guide us.
All corps will be sent covenant cards and separate cards for the children. In addition to this the online resources include teaching material, creative worship ideas, prayer resources, youth and children’s material and a toddler church session. This will all be supported by a video from the Territorial Commander, social media graphics, PowerPoint templates and posters to help you plan, promote and deliver Covenant Sunday.
