Concert to Celebrate Survivors

The evening will be a relaxed event with simple refreshments and an opportunity to speak to people working in the Anti-Trafficking and Modern Slavery Department.

We will mark Anti-Slavery Day (18 October) by celebrating survivors and showcasing the impact of the Army's work.

To help us raise awareness of modern slavery and stand in solidarity with survivors, people will be invited to make a donation and purchase a #WeAreNotForSale temporary tattoo to wear on Anti-Slavery Day.

Survivors' singing group

The survivors' singing group is a small choir made up of staff and survivors of modern slavery who are being supported by The Salvation Army in the London area – they gather each week to sing together.

Black Voices

Black Voices are Europe's leading all-female a cappella quintet. They have performed in every continent and before royalty and presidents. The group has also shared the stage with stars such as Nina Simone, Ray Charles, Hugh Masekela, Wynton Marsalis and Miriam Makeba.

Black Voices will be providing a singing workshop for our choir of survivors.

Regent Hall Songsters

Regent Hall Songsters is the choir at Regent Hall – The Salvation Army’s church on Oxford Street and venue for the concert.
