Join with Salvationists of the Wales Division for day 82 of 150 days of prayer.

  • ‘You must help poor people and those with no family to receive justice. Help those who have pain and trouble to receive the help that they need’ (Psalm 82:3, EasyEnglish Bible).

1955

Readers of the 23 April War Cry were informed about the encouraging ‘Bible class success at Cardiff’.

‘A Bible class started eighteen months ago at Cardiff Grangetown as a venture has proved a big success. There has been an average attendance of thirty-five, mostly of the fourteen to twenty-five-year-old age group.

‘Problems which confront such young people at school or work are dealt with, and questions invited concerning the Scriptures, Salvation Army doctrines and regulations, in addition to the hour of Bible study…. Within the last two years twenty new soldiers have been sworn in.’
