Share the light this Halloween with Kids Alive!

Kids Alive! Editor Cara Mott explains why the light issue of the weekly Christian comic is a great resource for Halloween.

Each year we publish a special light edition of Kids Alive! packed full of ideas on how you can share Jesus' love and light in your community at Halloween.

This year, we'll be focusing on John 8:12–20, when Jesus says: 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life' (v12).

The idea behind the special issue is to equip corps, centres and individuals with a resource that can be used to share the good news of Jesus with children around Halloween. It's perfect for handing out to trick-or-treaters or for use in community outreach.

Whether you're running a school assembly, hosting a light party or organising a holiday club for the October half-term break, this issue is for you. Don't forget to also grab a few extra copies for children connected to your corps!
