Throughout October, Kids Alive!'s Colouring Corner has featured black British celebrities. Read their stories and download each page to colour in at home.

Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock: space scientist
Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock is a black British space scientist who also presents The Sky at Night and CBBC’s Out of This World. She’s also written books and toured schools to get kids excited about space.
Ebinehita Iyere: youth mentor and champion for black girls
Ebinehita is the founder of Milk Honey Bees – a safe space for girls to express creativity, feel supported, access opportunities and gain skills.
Hamza Yassin: wildlife cameraman and TV presenter
You might know Hamza best as Ranger Hamza from CBeebies’ Let’s Go For a Walk, but he is also known for filming Scottish wildlife and presenting a number of TV programmes.
Dwayne Fields: explorer, adventurer, naturalist, TV presenter
In 2010, Dwayne became the first black British person to trek to the North Pole. He’s the founder of WeTwo Foundation – a charity that takes young people on expeditions – and a TV presenter.
Jack Leslie: pioneering black footballer
Jack played for Plymouth Argyle and was the only black professional footballer in England at the time. In 1925 he was selected to play for England, but was later denied this opportunity because of the colour of his skin.
Jack was a shining light in a footballing world where many didn’t accept him and he’s now been recognised with a statue outside Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park stadium.
