International Appointments Bulletin: 25 Jul 2024

Commissioner Edward Hill

Chief of the Staff Commissioner Edward Hill shares the latest appointments bulletin from International Headquarters.

It is my privilege to share with you information regarding international appointments and promotions proposed by the International Appointments Board and agreed by the General.

Effective 1 November 2024

Colonels Byung-Yoon Kim and Soon-Sam Cha, officers of the Korea Territory currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries in that territory, are appointed as the Territorial Leaders of the Korea Territory; Colonel Byung-Yoon Kim as Territorial Commander and Colonel Soon-Sam Cha as Territorial President of Women’s Ministries. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of commissioner; Colonel Byung-Yoon on 1 November 2024 and Colonel Soon-Sam Cha on 2 November 2024. They will succeed Commissioners Man-Hee and Stephanie Chang, who will retire from active service on 31 October 2024.

Lieut-Colonels Sea-Jong Han and Ok-Young Kim, officers of the Korea Territory currently serving respectively as Divisional Commander and Divisional Director of Women’s Ministries, Seoul Division in that territory, are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Korea Territory. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of colonel.

Effective 1 December 2024

Lieut-Colonel Nelia Almenario, an officer of the Philippines Territory currently serving as Training Principal in that territory, is appointed as Chief Secretary, Philippines Territory.
