Commissioner Edward Hill
Chief of the Staff Commissioner Edward Hill shares the latest appointments bulletin from International Headquarters.
It is my privilege to share with you information regarding international appointments and promotions proposed by the International Appointments Board and agreed by the General.
Effective 1 January 2024
Colonels Ralph and Susan Bukiewicz, officers of the USA Central Territory, currently serving respectively as National Chief Secretary and National Secretary for Personnel, USA National Headquarters, are appointed as territorial leaders of USA Eastern Territory: Colonel Ralph Bukiewicz as Territorial Commander and Colonel Susan Bukiewicz as Territorial President of Women’s Ministries and Territorial Leader for Officer Development. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of commissioner: Colonel Ralph Bukiewicz on 1 January 2024 and Colonel Susan Bukiewicz on 2 January 2024.
They will be succeeding Commissioners William and Lorraine Bamford, who will be retiring from active service.
Lieut-Colonels James and Sue-Ellen Betts, officers of the USA Eastern Territory, currently serving respectively as Adult Rehabilitation Centres (ARC) Commander and ARC Command Leader for Program/Command Leader for Officer Development, USA Eastern Territory, are appointed as National Chief Secretary and National Secretary for Personnel, USA National Headquarters. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of colonel.
Colonels Paul and Jenine Main, officers of the United Kingdom and Ireland Territory, currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Leader Development, United Kingdom and Ireland Territory, are appointed as territorial leaders for United Kingdom and Ireland Territory: Colonel Paul Main as Territorial Commander and Colonel Jenine Main as Territorial Leader for Leader Development. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of commissioner: Colonel Jenine Main on 3 January 2024 and Colonel Paul Main on 4 January 2024.
They will succeed Commissioners Anthony and Gillian Cotterill, who will be retiring from active service.
Colonels Peter and Julie Forrest, officers of the United Kingdom and Ireland Territory, currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary, International Headquarters, and International Liaison Officer for Dialogue on Human Sexuality, International Headquarters, are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Leader Development, United Kingdom and Ireland Territory.
Colonel Julie Forrest will also continue to serve as the International Liaison Officer for Dialogue on Human Sexuality, International Headquarters.
Colonels Kelvin and Cheralynne Pethybridge, officers of the Australia Territory, currently serving respectively as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women's Ministries, Eastern Europe Territory, are appointed as Chief Secretary, International Headquarters, and Secretary for Leader Development, International Headquarters.
Lieut-Colonels Richard and Ann Borrett, officers of the United Kingdom and Ireland Territory, currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries/Secretary for Personnel, Eastern Europe Territory, are appointed as territorial leaders of Eastern Europe Territory: Lieut-Colonel Richard Borrett as Territorial Commander and Lieut-Colonel Ann Borrett as Territorial President of Women’s Ministries. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of colonel.
Lieut-Colonels João Paulo and Karin Ramos, officers of the United Kingdom and Ireland Territory, currently serving respectively as Divisional Commander and Divisional Leader/Divisional Personnel Officer, West Midlands Division, United Kingdom and Ireland Territory, are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Eastern Europe Territory.
Majors Nigel and Stacy Cross, officers of the USA Western Territory, currently serving respectively as Training Principal and Director of CFOT Education and Continuing Education, USA Western Territory, are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand Territory. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of lieut-colonel.
Effective 1 February 2024
Colonels Geoff and Kalie Webb, officers of the Australia Territory, currently serving respectively as Executive Secretary to the General and Under Secretary (South Asia), International Headquarters, are appointed as territorial leaders of the Kenya West Territory: Colonel Geoff Webb as Territorial Commander and Colonel Kalie Webb as Territorial President of Women’s Ministries.
They will be succeeding Commissioners Joash and Florence Malabi (R), who have been giving pro tem leadership to the territory.
Lieut-Colonels Agripina and Gerardo Góchez, officers of the Latin America North Territory, currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Divisional Commander, Costa Rica Division, Latin America North, are appointed as territorial leaders for Mexico Territory: Lieut-Colonel Agripina Góchez as Territorial Commander and Lieut-Colonel Gerardo Góchez as Territorial Leader for Officer Development.
They will be succeeding Colonels Mirtha and Ricardo Fernandez, who will be retiring from active service.
Majors Juan Mercado and Lydia Mercado Berberena, officers of the USA Eastern Territory, currently serving respectively as Divisional Commander and Divisional Director of Women’s Ministries, Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands Division, USA Eastern Territory, are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries/Territorial Secretary for Leader Development, Latin America North Territory. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of lieut-colonel.
