International Appointments Bulletin: 2 Oct 2024

Chief of the Staff Commissioner Edward Hill shares the latest appointments bulletin from International Headquarters.

It is my privilege to share with you information regarding international appointments and promotions proposed by the International Appointments Board and agreed by the General.

Effective 1 January 2025

Commissioner Janine Donaldson, an officer of the New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa Territory, currently serving as the General’s Representative for Mission Effectiveness, International Headquarters, is appointed as Territorial Commander, New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa Territory.

She will succeed Commissioner Mark Campbell, who, along with Commissioner Julie Campbell, will take new appointments in their home territory.

Commissioner Robert Donaldson will remain as the General’s Representative for Mission Effectiveness.

Majors Pedro and Raquel Sanchez, officers of the South America West Territory, currently serving respectively as Training Principal and Assistant Director – Cadet School and Head of the Retirement Process of Officers in that territory, are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, South America West Territory. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of lieutenant colonel.

They will succeed Lieut-Colonels Raul and Lidia Berneo, who will take new appointments in their home territory.

Major Hanne Wahl, an officer of the Denmark and Greenland Territory, currently serving as Corps Officer, Temple Corps and Candidates Secretary in that territory, is appointed as Chief Secretary, Denmark and Greenland Territory.

She will succeed Major Joan Munch, who will take a new appointment in that territory.
